MVP Voting for War #14

As seems to be the trend, each war a hand full of people step up their game and really distinguish themselves:

Here are this week's nominees:

Maximus (score: 1.5) Max is on top this week for three reasons: 1) a base that no one wanted to touch 2) Successful attacks against their #1 and #2 ranked players & 3) the luck (or was it skill) of not facing their #1's bruising attacks (sorry Blimpus and Cld).

TheJoeEngle (score: 1.35) Basically recapping what Blimpus wrote: TheHun scored well defensively yielding only 1 star on three attacks (vs #4, #5, & #6) and scored 6 stars this week with his attacks on their #6 and #8 players. Thank you TheHun for putting the trash talker in his place (though I think my response was more amusing).

Friebz (score: .75) Friebz played the way we should all strive to: 6 stars earned against their #10 & #11 players. Then forcing the opposition to wage two attacks on him before yielding his own 3 stars to their #10 (two stars) and #9 players (final star).

Well done all, let's keep the ball rolling.

04/06/15 - War #14 - Backing up the Talk

War Results:
Good guys -  42
Bad guys - 38

Nothing like a little trash-talking to get our clan fired up.  District 12 (specifically #6 and #13) fired the first salvo by created war base messages with disparaging comments about everyone's favorite clan.  One thing you do not do is disrespect the Nightswatch!  We responded in kind both in pre-base as well as sent a message by sending theHun to obliterate #6 in our first attack.

Yes, it was a challenging clan...but we were at our best this war.  I say this all the time, as usual, our offense was great...but our defense was again the true story.  Between theHun's new base, Maximus and 2Live, District 12 ended in the same manner as the book it was named after...complete obliteration. Was there really any question as to who the victor would be?

MVP War #13 - Almost perfection

Last week's war showed what a solid clan we have.  While our offense was amazing, (we scored 43 out of 45 possible stars), but it was our defense that truly dominated.  The opposing clan used 24 attacks and only had six 3-star attacks against us...in most cases, after multiple tries.

Our nominees for this war include:

Electric_Oasis (Score 1.35):  While we have 3 MVP nominees in the war, Electric stood ahead of the pack in terms of score.  On offense, Electric gained an amazing attack bonus against #6, with a well-executed dragon/balloon attack against #6.  He additionally gained a cleanup star against #7 (gaining 2).  However, just like the war, it was Electric's defense which was the story of the night. Electric's newly upgraded TH8 base successfully defended against 3 mass dragon attacks, including an eleven level-3 dragon attack.  All three attacks could only muster up a single star for the opposing clan.

Maximus (Score .75):  Maximus started slow with a single-star mass dragon attack against #3, however he made up big-time with solid 3-star attack against #4.  However, as usual, the story was defense yet again.  Maximus successful fended off an attack from #1 and #4 by holding them both to only 1-star.  Maximus' base finally succumbed to #3, but only after disheartening their clan in their first two attempts.

Rachemz (Score .75): Rachemz was her normally consistent offensive powerhouse by being the only member to earn 6-stars this war.  Her two consecutive attacks against, #9 and #10 pushed the lead and certainly disheartened the opposing clan.  Her base only allowed 2 stars on the opposing clan's single attack.
